Azerbaijani President allocates AZN 3 million for design and construction of buildings for nearly 700 IDP families

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has issued an order on additional measures for further improvement of living conditions of refugee and IDP families, the President’s press service told APA.

According to the order, AZN 3 million will be allocated from the President’s Reserve Fund to the State Committee on Works with Refugees and IDPs in 2009 for the purpose of design and construction of multi-storied buildings for about 700 IDP families. The State Oil Fund was commissioned to take this allocation into consideration while working out the budget for 2010.

It was noted in the order that a number of measures have been taken for further improvement of living conditions of refugee and IDP families over the last couple of years. 61 new settlements, more than 150 educational, 50 healthcare and 30 communication have been constructed for IDP families.
