AZN 88,5 thousand damage caused to environment by arsons committed by Armenians in Agdam region, Azerbaijan
AR Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources defined the damage inflicted on the environment by the arsons committed by Armenians in the occupied territory of Agdam region.
Armenians set fire to more than 70 ha of land in Bash Garvand, Garagashli and Sarijali villages of occupied Agdam region on June 11, the Ministry’s press service informed APA. As a result, 20 ha of land were burnt in Bash Garvand, 30 ha in Garagashli and 20 ha in Sarijali villages. The investigations held by the Ministry’s experts revealed that upper fertile layer of the soil was burnt down and, as a result, the environment suffered AZN 77 thousand damage, flora – AZN 7,7 thousand, and the atmosphere – AZN 3,8 thousand. Altogether, AZN 88,5 thousand damage was brought to the environment in Agdam region.
