The Executive Director of Public Association for “Protection of Rights of Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons in Azerbaijan” and the Expert on Migration Issues Dayanat Musayev gave an interview to ANS TV.
The main priority theme of the interview was the current situation and problems of the migrants and recently emigration of Chechen refugees from Azerbaijan. D. Musayev noted that presently there are 1100 Chechen refugees from 12 000 refugees settled in our republic and even the remaining part is planning to leave for the European countries in summer of the current year. The main reason for this was the challenging appeal of the President of Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadirov to his nation. We as the Public Association for “Protection of Rights of Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons in Azerbaijan” regularly meet with Chechens, discuss their problems by organizing round tables and inform the state and international organizations about these problems.
At the end of the meeting the detailed information was given about the organization’s website daily updated in three languages and the monthly newspaper “Voice of Karabakh” published in Russian and English.
