On March 11, a meeting with Bogdan and Ina Ganguli PhD in Public Policy Candidate in Harvard Kennedy School of Government was held in the office of Public Association for “Protection of Rights of Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons in Azerbaijan”. Professor Nadir Abdullayev, chairman of the Public Association gave detailed information to guests on the activities of the association and events it held. Guests received broad information about the monthly newspaper “Qolos Karabaxa”- “Voice of Karabakh” which is issued in Russian and English and on daily updated internet site. Dayanat Musayev, executive director of the Association talked about regulation of migration mechanisms in the republic, rules for obtaining individual permissions to be engaged in business of migrants, and their current state and problems. Broad exchange of views was held in the meeting on the official registration and rights of the migrants in the republic.
Highly appreciating activities of the Association, guests have emphasized that Association’s site and newspapers are one of the important means in order to deliver Azerbaijan’s reality to the world.
Exchange of views has been held between the Association and Harvard University on the perspectives of mutual activity. Last issue of Association’s monthly newspaper “Qolos Karabaxa”- “Voice of Karabakh” in Russian and English and the book “Shusha is the ancient land of Azerbaijan” (“Shusha – old Azerbaijan land”) were presented to the guests.
