Over 100 people have applied to the State Migration Service for living in Azerbaijan with the status of refugee this year, chief of the State Migration Service Arzu Rahimov said, APA reports.
Rahimov said the applications are investigated and decisions are passed after the investigation. According to Rahimov, this year the applications have been mainly made by the citizens of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran.
Rahimov said most migrants come to Azerbaijan from Georgia, Russia, Iran and Turkey. In general, migrants from 130 countries have been registered in Azerbaijan.
