The Izyum City Council of the Ukraine`s Kharkov province reversed its resolution on the so-called “Armenian genocide” adopted earlier in December last year, making the first such a decision in the world.
Chairman of the Izyum City Council sent a letter to inform the Crimea Azerbaijanis Circle (CAC) and Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Congress`s Crimea office.
According to Chairman of the CAC Rahim Humbatov, the December decision contradicted the Ukrainian legislation as the local authorities are not entitled to pass such a resolution. Humbatov pointed out the unfair decision was cancelled after the CAC appealed to the Prosecutor`s Office.
