On September 24-25 UNESCO in collaboration with the Center for Migration Studies of Russia will hold a regional meeting of experts «Partnership of the CIS countries in the field of migration: search for negotiated solutions» in Moscow. As APA reports, referring to the UNESCO site, the purpose of the meeting, which will bring together experts from public organizations of CIS countries, is a modern migration policy, the establishment of a multilateral dialogue to discuss immigration legislation of CIS, the creation of good practice in the management of migration flows in the region. Participants will discuss issues of law and the organization of migration in the CIS countries, the protection of the rights of migrants, the impact of economic crisis on migrant workers, tolerance of the host society and the role of media in the migration policy.
