Azerbaijan has handed over the Armenian hostage detained in Azerbaijani territory in May, 2008.
Hrant Gabrielian, 1981, inhabitant of Machgala village of Khojavand region and Armenian by origin was handed over to Armenia on August 19 at 14:30 in Bash Garvand village of Aghdam region of Azerbaijan, Shahin Sailov, secretary of the State Commission on Captives, Hostages and Missing People, stated Trend News
Representatives of the State Commission and the Baku Office of the International Red Cross Committee participated at the process.
Azerbaijani citizen, inhabitant of Zalam village of Gabala region, Eyyubov Arzu Nuraddin oglu, 1975 was released from hostage on August 14, 2008. Eyyubov was taken hostage in Ijevan region of Armenia, on February 19, 2008 by Armenian militaries.
