Azerbaijani citizens raised about 570 claims against Armenia in European Court of Human Rights The majority of claims raised in the European Court of Human Rights against Armenia were lodged from Azerbaijan, chair to the Court, Jan Poll Costa stated receiving Arman Mkrtumyan, chair to the Armenian Court of Appeal in Strasburg, APA reports quoting “Novosti-Armenia”. J.P.Costa stated there are about 800 cases in the European Court of Human Rights against Armenia and 570 of them are the claims by Azerbaijani citizens. The Court chair, saying there are about 95.000 cases in the Court’s execution now, added the appeals grow day by day, so they want to initiate reforms for more effective work. According to him, 55% of appeals come from 4 countries: Russia, Turkey, Romania and Ukraine.
