An agreement on non-use of force in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict could be reached

OSCE Minsk Group US co-chair Matthew Bryza considers it possible to reach an agreement on non-use of force in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Bryza said at a press conference in Yerevan that principle of non-use of force was the main issue in the co-chairs’ work, APA reports quoting News Armenia. “We are searching in the negotiation process for the way of realizing this principle”, said Bryza.

The US co-chair said there was no way of military solution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. “The solution to the conflict should be based on three principles: non-use of force, self-determination and territorial integrity”.

Bryza said Azerbaijani President also spoke about the importance of peaceful solution, which was a positive factor.
