“The sides agreed in the Moscow Declaration that the conflict must be resolved via the negotiations and on the principles of the international law.
The war is not an alternative because it doesn’t solve anything”, said OSCE Minsk Group French co-chair Bernard Fassier at a join press conference in Yerevan, APA reports quoting News Armenia. He said they were working on the document, which embraced the principles of non-use of force, self-determination and territorial integrity and the conflict couldn’t be solved without any of these principles. Fassier said they asked the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia to prepare the population not for the war, but for peace. The French co-chair said they didn’t obtain consent of Baku to withdraw snipers from the frontline yet, but hopes were not lost. “Our British friends say “never say never”.
