The Czech professor Ivan Mezhnik, expert on east countries, on 21 August visited the Guba burial site in Azerbaijan.
The Czech orientalist said: “I have been in many world countries. What I have seen in Guba burial site cannot be compared even with Khatin and terrible Yugoslavia war scenes`, Ivan Mezhnik emphasized. “Peoples of world countries should be aware of this genocide. The act is to be fairly assessed”.
The Czech scientist will take part at the “round-table” to be organized by International Diaspora Center (IDC) on the topic of deportation and genocide. He is expected to meet with the Azerbaijani scientists.
