“The meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers Elmar Mammadyarov and Edward Nalbandian in Athens is inevitable,” Russian co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group Yuri Merzlyakov told APA when asked whether Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers will met within the framework of the meeting of OSCE Ministerial Council in Athens on December 1-2.
“We usually attend the meetings of OSCE Ministerial Council, as the process of settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict is realized by OSCE,” he said.
The Russian co-chair confirmed that they will visit the region next week, but said the exact date and route of the visit has not been specified.
To the question “Will you offer a new meeting to the presidents?” the diplomat said:
