The delegation led by deputy chairperson of the Russian parliament Svetlana Orlova is visiting Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The delegation has today visited the graves of Heydar Aliyev, Zarifa Aliyeva, Bulbul, Muslum Magomayev in the Honor Alley and Martyrs’ Alley.
Orlova told journalists that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia were developing. She said the parliaments of the two countries also had good relations.
Touching on the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict Orlova said Russia had increased its efforts in this direction. She said Russian President continued his efforts.
“We make efforts to solve this conflict soon,” she said.
The eighth meeting of Russia-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Commission will be held in the parliament today.
After the meeting press conference will be held concerning the meetings and discussions.
Svetlana Orlova plans to hold other official meetings.
