Khojali genocide remembrance broadcasted on Canada radio

Khojali genocide remembrance broadcasted on Canada radioAzerbaijan Community of British Columbia province in Vancouver city has today held remembrance of Khojaly genocide.

According to information given from Azerbaijan Embassy in Canada to APA, prior to the remembrance event a silence minute was observed. During the event all the speakers noted the significance of remembering this bloody night every year, calling everybody not to forget brutalities of this grave crime and reach prosecution of the perpetrators of this genocide.

One of the witnesses of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, S. Aliyeva addressing the audience said that Khojaly was not the only tragedy perpetrated by Armenians against Azerbaijani people, there were even worse, but they were left only in the memories of witnesses of these brutalities.

Furthermore, the documental movie on Khojaly tragedy was demonstrated. Different brochures and books were distributed to the participators of event. Awareness information on Khojaly tragedy was also broadcasted on the air of Azerbaijan radio “Odlar yurdu” (Land of Fires) in Vancouver.
