“If money transfer to Armenia stops, poverty may increase to 31% in the country”, Executive Director of Armenia’s Economic Development and Research Center (EDRC) Gagik Torosyan informed.
According to him, there are not investment projects for migrants in Armenia. Money transfer exceeds the direct investment by 2.5 times and this may create several problems.
