Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina makes draft resolution on Azerbaijan’s occupied territories

The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina has made a draft resolution on the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, said chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Božo Ljubić, who is on a visit to Baku, at the meeting with speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov, APA reports.

According to him, the document unambiguously supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and notes that Azerbaijan’s territories occupied by Armenian armed units must be liberated: “The draft resolution will be submitted for discussion at the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the near future.”

The guest also said his country also suffered from war: “The settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will pave the way for the development of not only Azerbaijan and Armenia, but also the region and Europe. We are in favor of the settlement of this conflict on the basis of international legal norms and principles within Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and our position remains unchanged.”

Asadov gave detailed information to the guests about the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, thanked the government and Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina for fair position, as well as support given to Azerbaijan at PACE winter session and expressed his confidence that this policy will be continued in the future.
