On January 10, Azerbaijani Minister of Defense, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov held on-site meeting with the Armed forces officials. Ministry’s Press Service told APA that commanders and chiefs made reports on the work done, tasks on combat readiness of the troops were specified, tasks were given on organization of combat readiness in 2014 and comprehensive supply of the troops. Several new appointments and service replacements were made.
The meeting was held to ensure fulfillment of the tasks of Azerbaijani President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev regarding reforms in the armed forces. /APA/
