“The problem should be solved basing on the international law and relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council”
Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Amangeldi Jumabayev.
Defense Ministry’s press service told APA that Defense Minister spoke about the activities carried out to strengthen military cooperation and mutual confidence between the two countries, underlined our states’ contributions to the regional stability.
Touching on the military-political situation in the region, Zakir Hasanov said the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan is a major threat to the regional stability, noted that the problem should be solved basing on the international law and relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council.
Ambassador said the relations between our states are based on strong historical framework and kind brotherhood, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have close positions on economic, political and military issues, are important partners regarding the issue of the Caspian Sea.
The sides exchanged views on Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan military relations and other issues of mutual interest.
