Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry has abolished three military units, military sources exclusively told APA.
The Defense Ministry’s press service confirmed to APA the abolishment of the military units.
“The optimization of organization-staff structure of some military units under the Defense Ministry has been carried out with the view of ensuring the implementation of the tasks put forward by President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev about reforms in the Armed Forces, strengthening defense capability and increase the combat capability of the Armed Forces,” the Defense Ministry said.
