The new cultural attaché at the Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan, Ebrahim Ebrahimi has taken office, Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mohsen Pak Ayeen told journalists on Feb. 19.
He said the new cultural attaché will hold office for three years.
The ambassador said that Ebrahimi is an experienced person in the cultural area.
“Ebrahimi is from Tabriz and worked as a coordinator at the Iranian parliament. I believe that his activity here will be successful,” the ambassador said.
The diplomat speaking about Azerbaijani Culture Days to be held in Iran in May said he welcomes this initiative.
“We hope that Azerbaijani culture and art figures as well as people working in the cinema, theatre and artistry areas will participate during the cultural days and contribute to further development of our cultural relations,” Pak Ayeen said.
