Rufat Ahmadzada – APA. “The attempts to accuse the Azerbaijani hostages of murder and set them against each other at the so-called court are just another provocation of the invaders, which needs to be halted immediately”, Chairman of the Public Union “Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno Karabakh told APA.
Safarov said the reports of Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev “accusing each other” during the “court” which took place today in Khankandi are a provocation of the Armenian side.
“These men had gone to their home lands to visit the graves of their relatives. Everybody should unequivocally accept this. Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev had not gone to Kalbajar to assassinate anyone. Keeping them as hostages and forcing to utter some words under pressure are illegal. It’s an act of provocation. Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev must be freed in no time.
To the question on the activities of the international organizations Bayram Safarov replied:
“I don’t know about others, but I believe that the Azerbaijani government is seriously dealing with this matter. I call on the Armenian leadership to stop performing a show on the innocent people. If they aim at peace, let them show it in other way”.
