“The current leadership of Armenia will plunder the country for 5-10 years and then leave it. The Armenian people, who elected this leadership, will suffer from their wrong policy,” said Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov, APA reports.
He said international experts have calculated that the Armenian occupation has caused more than $300 billion damage to Azerbaijan: “The budget of Armenia is USD 3 billion. When Azerbaijan appeals to international courts for compensation, the Armenian people will suffer from this.”
Hasanov called on the Armenian people to protest against the wrong policy of the leadership: “But what do Armenian people, who consider themselves clever, think about it? According to them, they are the cleverest people. If you are clever, why don’t you see it? We are neighbors. It is impossible to move the lands. Our neighborhood is permanent. We must live in these lands whether we want it or not. Why don’t the Armenian people think about this and put on pressure on the authorities?”
Hasanov noted that if Armenia had not pursued aggressive policy, the projects implemented in the other countries would have been carried out in Armenia: “This the shortest way and is economically effective. The Azerbaijani government has repeatedly announced that it is not cooperating nor will cooperate with Armenia unless the conflict is solved.”
The deputy minister also stated that the protectors of Armenia are already tired: “The day will come when the Armenian Diaspora will turn away from this country. If someone thinks that this is the problem of only Azerbaijan, he is mistaken. The Nagorno Karabakh is the problem of the whole world.”
