“Azerbaijan will accept, in principle, proposals regarding settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, but only after agreeing on some elements. This breakthrough can be possible only after Armenia reviews its strategic position,” Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov said.
“Azerbaijan has big potential to protect its position on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the basis of international legal norms and principles, and territorial integrity of our country”.
“However, we don`t see a desired compromise from the aggressor state.”
The Deputy FM said official Baku should act depending on circumstances.
“The productivity of further steps after a Saint Petersburg meeting will depend on whether or not there is a progress in Armenia`s position.”
