“The co-chairing states should strengthen efforts towards the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict,” spokesman for Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev told journalists, APA reports. He mentioned that due to the non-constructive position of Armenia, the conflict has not been solved, Azerbaijan’s territories are still under occupation, refugees can not return home.
“The resolution of this conflict is very important for the region, including the neighboring countries. Azerbaijan is located in a very important geostrategic position and protraction of the conflict impedes the development of the region,” he said.
