Head of Azerbaijan State Migration Service (ASMS) Arzu Rahimov participated in the 5th meeting of the heads of the council of CIS countries’ migration organs held in Kazan. The department on public relations of ASMA informed that the heads of migration organs from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine as well as the representative of the commissions of European Unions in Russia, International Center on Development of Migration Policy, International Migration Organization and CIS Executive Committee. The information on the situation on migration in CIS counties was given in the meeting. The participants discussed the issues on cooperation between member countries’ migration organs on the fight against illegal migration and the preparation for the project “organization of labor activity of labor migrants in CIS countries”.
