Mendacity of Sarkisyan “lives” and “flourishes”
There is no necessity to waste time on representation of this madam, to explain that it for the person, than she has drawn our attention – she and so widely known among the people, besides, not at all with positive reputation.
By the way, if the reader remembers, we too have written about her, her excessive Armenia selfless in the June issue of our newspaper in an article under the heading “Baroness Cox – self-sacrificer of Armenians”. And now we return to this subject is not on a special hunt for her. Just impudent tricks of this irrepressible Armenian selfless lead us again and again refer to the theme of the baroness.
So, recently the chairman of the parliamentary interparty group of the Armenian-British friendship of Great Britain baroness Caroline Cox has made his next, 71st (!) under the account since 1988, visit to Armenia. Besides, this time, “her majesty” was not alone, she managed to convince of some colleagues-deputies to dare at a trip to Nagorno Karabakh (NK) and, thus, as a part of delegation, under her leadership have been a member of the Chamber of lords of British parliament Shrila Flaver, a member of House of Commons John Vaytingdeyl and also secretaries Anthony Abajian and Odet Bazil. Hell, well, God bless her, even wander where only she will take in head. But no, because the fact is that she does not go to admire sights of Yerevan. Mrs. visits Armenians 3-4 times annually to please them, for adding oil to the burning of the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, and most importantly – to tear off as much as possible of the Armenian diaspora money. For the sake of justice say that while is still possible to her.
In general, Coke 71st time has arrived to Armenia and almost as much time – in NK. But between these two trips there is an essential difference: Armenia – a separate country, who comes there – it is not business of ours. But the NK – the territory of Azerbaijan, and a trip to there Cox and this delegation – a direct violation of state borders, which involves a criminal liability. By the way, for repeated similar actions Mrs. Cox had already declared in Azerbaijan, persona non grata, and there is no doubt that the above-mentioned parliamentarians meet the same fate. The baroness did not only breaks the border of a sovereign state, and even pokes his nose into other people’s affairs, shamelessly engaged in anti-Azerbaijani propaganda bears slander against her, inflames passions of people, promotes deepening of feeling the hatred and enmity between the two peoples.
“I always with the big enthusiasm visit Nagorno-Karabakh and become witness to how the people who fought for their independence and live a full life,” – said Cox, answering questions of journalists in Yerevan, and continued: “We are inspired with the spirit of the people of Artsakh, which after ruin builds again their lives, moreover, builds democracy… My feelings are always with the Armenian people. I together with you always remember and grieve over the tragedy of 1915”. The baroness at all hasn’t felt ashamed to act in a role of the lawyer of Armenians, and including “People” “Artsakh”: “The wounds will not heal until the genocide of Armenians in 1915 will not be recognized… The people of Karabakh have the right to participate on settlement of the Karabakh problem… I think that Azerbaijan will sooner or later have to agree with this… The Armenians have shown their will for advance the process and Azerbaijan, in turn, should show the will to cooperation… During our meetings with officials of Nagorno-Karabakh we have made sure what the Armenian party has gone concessions in negotiating process…” It turns out that Mrs. Cox, too, like the Armenians, “is wounded” by “Armenian genocide of 1915” and suffers from a chronic illness with a diagnosis of “Greater Armenia”.
Well, of course, baroness Caroline Cox in response to a fairly decent diaspora money, costly gifts and awards, including the Order of Honour and Medal Mkhitar Gosha of Republic of Armenia, should “to go all out”.
Let’s notice that the leadership of the British Parliament in response to indignation of the Azerbaijani side, as a rule, states that, ostensibly, visits of Mrs. Cox or other members of parliament in NK – “it’s private visits, they don’t reflect the will and the position of the aforementioned body”. No, misters, this is just your pretext for Cox doesn’t go there as a tourist, she makes these visits as a member and a vice-speaker of the Chamber of Lords of the British parliament, every time she meets, carries on negotiations, agrees on certain intergovernmental issues with the leadership of Armenia and the unrecognized “NKR”, etc. In short, she permanently, as they say, pokes her head to where the nose does not climb. But how long? Unless there is nobody who, at last will urge baroness Cox to hold his tongue?

Problems of migrants in the country are discussed
Successes in economic development and the entire stabilizing political situation in Azerbaijan led to an influx into this young sovereign country of migrants both from nearby and from distant countries of the world. And this factor, in turn, has brought into the republic with an army one million refugees and internally displaced persons, formed as a result of Armenian aggression, a number of problems.
This problems was also discussed at the Round Table with the agenda “Registration problems of migrants in the Azerbaijan Republic”, organized by Public Association for the “Protection of Rights of Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons in Azerbaijan” (PA PRMIDP).
Opening the event with an opening speech, the chairman of PA PRMIDP, professor Nadir Abdullayev has noticed that at present every 35-th person (175 million or about 3% of the population) in the world is a migrant, and this factor has not bypassed also Azerbaijan. According to an unofficial data, in the country, together with the registered migrants now live some tens of thousands of unregistered people. Despite the fact that recently in the country conditions for improvement of work with migrants have been created, including the establishment of the State Migration Service of the Republic, yet still be some difficulties and problems.
The executive director of PA PRMIDP, the candidate of historical sciences, Maharram Zulfigarly gave a report on the above topic. In his report, as well as in the speeches of migrants from the Iran Islamic Republic Khosrow Heydari, Hamid Kharrazi, migrants from Afghanistan Hamza Imami, the official representative of the Ombudsman Adila Eyvazova, chairman of the Public Council on Human Rights Anvar Gafarli, president of the Fund of Monitoring of Ecological Standards of Azerbaijan, professor Rauf Sultanov and others reflected the situation of migrants in the country, the problems existing both in the social life of these people, and in questions of their registration.
It was noted that as at April 1 of this year in Azerbaijan there are 452,475 migrants who have arrived from 92 countries of the world, 25 percent from which are migrant workers, 20% – came for education, 18% – having a relationship with the Azerbaijanis. Basic part of the migrants who have arrived to the country are from Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Iran, India, China, Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Ukraine, Pakistan, Malaysia, Germany, Afghanistan, etc. Of those currently living in the country over 30 thousand people without any status, because they do not have the corresponding documents or have void documents. This creates problems in the social life of these people. Of course, have also been instances of difficulties the registration of migrants caused by bureaucratic interference.
At the event, the special attention has been given a question of two villages of Khachmaz district of Azerbaijan – Hrahoby and Uryanoby, the majority of inhabitants are citizens of Russia, it creates certain problems both for the residents and the state. The issue is that residents of these villages or have the nationality of Azerbaijan, or get the status of migrants, otherwise, they should be deported. They also touched upon the problems of our relatives coming into the republic from neighboring Georgia because of the severe living conditions there.
Roundtable participants through the mass-media have addressed to the corresponding bodies of the country with the request to carry out measures for elimination of defects of a question of registration of migrant workers and improve working and living conditions of people of the given category.
