Receb Tayyib ERDOGAN,
Turkish Prime Minister:
“I am remembering our brothers killed in Khojaly and praying for them. We express our solidarity with Azerbaijan and our Azeri brothers… We will support justice, law and peace, but not escalation of hate and wrath. We will not forget and will not allow forgetting Khojaly and will continue mourning on our sisters and brothers killed in Khojaly”.

Mir Jan Muhammad Khan JAMALI,
Deputy chairman of the Senate of Pakistan:
“My country supports Azerbaijan’s position on territorial integrity, Jamali said his country supports and will continue to support Azerbaijan within the framework of OIC, ISESCO and UN. We will strengthen our position. Pakistan does not recognize Israel because of Palestinian problem, Armenia because of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, supports Turkey’s position regarding the Northern Cyprus. Pakistan is ready to give support to Azerbaijan in the military sphere…It is high time to set up a military bloc of the Muslim countries. The West has double standard approach on the processes. When something happens in the Christian world, they try to interfere immediately. But they do not interfere in what happens in the Muslim world – Karabakh, Bosnia etc. They do not try to implement the UN resolutions”.

Vasili ISTRATOV,
Russian ex-ambassador in Azerbaijan:
“International community is indebted to innocent Khojaly victims. Because for 20 years, very few people remembered what had happened in Khojaly and gave it little attention. We, along with an attempt to emotionally and morally evaluate an event that should make the political and legal assessment of an event occurring 20 years ago in Nagorno-Karabakh. We believe that after the 20 years, Khojaly massacre should be the focus of attention of world public, and Russia”.
From the statement to the correspondent of APA, February 25, 2012
Devlet BAHCELI,
Leader of Turkish National Movement Party:
“Armenian death machine has never stopped. Khojaly is a conscience and unfinished scream of Turkic nation. The person, who shed blood in Khojaly, is a president of Armenia now. This person led the murderers who committed atrocities in Khojaly”.
From the statement at the meeting of the party’s parliamentary group, Istanbul, February 28, 2012
HUNGARIAN parliamentarians:
“According to the norms of the international law, Armenia carried out ethnic cleansing. The UN Security Council adopted four resolutions in 1993 in response to Armenian aggression, the resolutions condemn the violation of the norms of the international law, demand unconditional withdrawal of Armenian troops from the occupied territories… The world media broadly covered the crime committed by Armenians. No serious changes have happened since then. It is unjust that the world community does not remember the tragedy of the Azerbaijanis, unlike other genocides, does not pay attention to the problems of more than one million Azerbaijanis. We demand just attitude towards Azerbaijan!”

KARABAKH DIARY
(beginning in the previous issues)
“KARABAKH” THROUGH THE STANDPOINT OF FAITH
With separation of Rome state into North Rome (or Rome with capital Rome) and South Rome emperies in V century, there was happened the first and the biggest division of christianism into Rome-Catholic (northern) and Orthodox (southern) churches at the same time with creation of own patriarchies in both of them. If in North the church stayed as monolith for thousand years, but in South it was separated into parts again immediately that some of them could become to independent branches and so, couldn’t be considered as Orthodox. That’s how the Armenian apostolic church appeared also which arose during separation of whole-christianism. About the North church, then the mentioned separation wasn’t observed in it.
This second great separation harmed christianism in XVI century and is famous as movement of reformation causing spinning-off of protestant churches from Rome-catholic church. In this condition, the third religion in the world for its creation time – christianism, as the result of two big divisions, today demonstrates enough motley image of the majority who were separated into sects and directions and into views about “Karabakh” problem which had appeared earlier: what is the level of indifference of any autonomic church to national subordination of its followers or how does it look through nationalism. For example, in Catholicism that could keep the tradition of early christianism in this problem, there isn’t any relation between nationality and faith which thanks to it was possible to elect the present Papa Iohanne-Pavel Second of the polish nationality.
Indeed the situation in Russian Orthodox Church doesn’t differ from the mentioned church about this moment that is explained by its unfailing subordination to its sources from Byzantine. And this allowed the Ethiopian Pushkin Hannibal, Tatar tsar Yusupov, Jew Pasternak to be baptized in Russian Orthodoxy. The present Patriarch of Moscow and the whole Russia Aleksey Second isn’t Russian too, he is Baltic German and also the Jewism is also being observed from his surname – Ridiger.
We can name other Christian churches too which are such indifferent to ethnic belonging of the followers (Lutheranism, Calvinism, baptism e. t. c.). But the situation isn’t the same in all Christian churches which can be given an example as British Protestantism – the English church which is very similar with Japanese Shintoism. But a monarch isn’t considered as the God here in difference with the Shintoism, he is the official who leads the church. Of course, combining of worldly and religious powers in one person couldn’t cause the underlined position when the interests of a monarch and the state become to interests of the church. It is so national, this church, with harmony with worldly powers, tries to consolidate exactly the English followers. This is the reason of the fact that Olsterian opposition between England and Ireland changed into religious crisis between the English and Catholics. (But the worst is that privacy of the English church created propitious condition for conservation of the most ancient lines of the national mentality). And all these are very clear, as you know, even material happiness of this church depends on how quickly the population of England would be devoted into national institutes. Where the propagandists of Anglicanism gain its followers is only among the Anglicans, because people of other citizenship don’t fit to this moment. And that’s why the church is afraid of that if the English leave the national traditions, how they could continue.
In the end, such a church is absolutely strange also to integration attempts including at international level. And this is also clear: the Anglican Church won’t get new followers from creation of any cooperation, you know, number of the English won’t change, but it would cause to lose them as an Englishman could enter the Catholicism or Lutheranism who would involve anybody not depending on their race or nationality. Such clearly-expressed orientation of the Anglican church on only its citizens is one of the reasons of that Great Britain resists the increasing of European economy in political council, in the USA so strongly: traditions of the church, playing such great role in lives of the English, was also adopted with their faces, growing inside them the famous English conservatism in traditions and the views such as “The church helps them completely”. But instead the Rome-catholic church tries to integrate with Europe as in such many-national state as United States, the universal Catholicism can enlarge its line including thanks to the nationalist Anglican church. And here’s where the Armenian Orthodox church is connected with it for its obsession to its own nation and that explains many moments about its behavior in Karabakh. Two other reasons are: close relations with the USA and special connection with the countries of British cooperation of nations deprives it from these advantages in integration with Europe. Before all, being extinguisher of Karabakhian fire, it couldn’t do it for its typical character. And it also couldn’t be the catalyst of the integration processes in Caucasus because such ethnic “pot” as Caucasus can be served only by Islam or Russian Orthodox.
