The Joint Commission of Commonwealth of the Independent States conducted tenth meeting in Astana, joining the agreement on the struggle against illegal immigrationThe Joint Commission of Commonwealth of the Independent States conducted tenth meeting in Astana, joining the agreement on the struggle against illegal immigration, press agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan gave information. Azerbaijan was represented by Yashar Yahya, colonel police, the representative of Middle Asia and Kazakhstan of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan Republic.

Different issues were discussed in the meeting for example, legal methods to struggle against illegal immigration, information exchange of lost, expired passports and other documents, illegal visa and other issues. It was noted that in last 5 years, the immigrants came to Kazakhstan increased for 5 times and became 7 million. Economical crises and unemployment made this problem even worse. The event participants noted the importance of joint special measures within the CIS in order to prevent illegal migration.

Yahya Aliyev talked about the problems of the Azeri citizens who live in Kazakhstan and have made investments for the development of this country.
