Public Union on “Introduction of Khojali Genocide” (PUIKG) organized a photo exhibition on “Khojali genocide in photos” in Tafakkur University on October 15. Giving information about the photo exhibition the head of the Union Shamil Sabiroglu stated that due to the intention protocol signed with the Research Foundation on Turkish genocides in Netherlands PUIKG would be preparing for the international court to be planned in Hague in 2010 and on this purpose it would continue to hold several meetings in the various regions. Recently, the event on Khojali tragedy is planned to be carried out in Sumgait with the support of Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Sumgait City Executive Power. The other speakers also stressed that the greatest tragedy of the 21st century shouldn’t be forgotten and the events on this issue should be carried out not only in our country but also abroad in order to inform international community and posterity. The martyrs given their lives for the territorial integrity of our lands were commemorated with a one minute silence and the rhymes were read by the school children.
