Milli Mejlis should bring this project up for the discussion during 2 days.
On October 14, 7 MP’s of Armenian Irs Party submitted draft project on “Recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh” to the Speaker of Milli Mejlis Hovig Abramyan.
According to information of www.tert.am taken by www.lent.az, the first article of the project says: “ The Republic of Armenia recognizes the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh”. If this law is accepted it will come into force after 10 days of its official publication.
The chief of the deputy group Styabo Safaryan expressed his hope that Milli Mejlis will be realist and accept the law in defiance of what it did in April of 2008. “We will be happy if our associates sign this law in a few days”, he said.
According to the media service of the party, due to the legislation the Speaker of Milli Mejlis should bring this project up for the discussion during 2 days.
