Defense Ministry has commented on the Armenian media reports about the incident on the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian troops – in the direction of Kelbejer region. Spokesman for the Defense Ministry, Colonel Eldar Sabiroghlu told APA that no one was killed or wounded from the Azerbaijani side, Armenian media reports are false. Armenia media reported that the servicemen of Azerbaijani Armed Forces attacked Armenian positions in the direction of Kelbejer region. After the battles the Azerbaijani retreated, nothing is known about losses.
Several Armenian servicemen were wounded in the shooting. Spokesman for Armenian Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovannisian said the situation on the forefront is under the control.
Sources in Azerbaijani Armed Forces told APA that Armenians are deploying additional forces and military vehicles on the forefront.
