United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees allocates $6 million to Azerbaijan

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has allocated about $6 million ($5,850,001) to Azerbaijan.

 

APA reports quoting the UNHCR website that $4,397,620 of this amount have been allocated for the implementation of the programs for refugees, $321,299 for stateless persons and $1,131,082 for the displaced people.

 

The total amount of the funds allocated to Armenia is $4,081,334.

 

These funds are allocated to refugees from the Eastern Europe through assistance program. About $14m has been allocated to Georgia, $7m to Russia, $195m to Turkey and $10m to Ukraine.
