The Prime Minister of Turkey Rejep Tayyip Erdogan replied questions regarding to Armeni in Gdansk University. He stated that according to UNO resolutions Armenia was an invader country. “If they stop the occupation we will open the borders” he also added that “Turkey-Armenia relations are not one-sided at all. There some issues depended on these relations. For instance, the problems between Azerbaijan and Armenia concern us too. We want Armenia to leave Nagorno-Karabakh. This is not our decision. This is a decision of UNO. UNO recognizes Armenia as an invader. So, stop the occupation! As Nagorno-Karabakh has been occupied the borders are closed. The first is a reason, the second is a result. Let this reason be taken away and we will open the borders”. The prime Minister also reminded that as a result of extreme poverty in Armenia 40 000 Armenians worked illegally in Turkey. “We can send them back whenever we want. But we don’t do it from the point of humane reasons”.
