The Azerbaijan National Mine Action (ANAMA) cleared 2,827,520 sq. meters area of land from 16,248 Unexploded Ordnances (UXO) and mines in October.
Demining operations involved 425 deminers, 6 mechanical demining machines, 30 mine detection dogs.
To date, ANAMA has cleared 115, 803, 2 sq.m. of land, destroying 504,396 mines and UXOs.
Agency has carried demining operations in Tartar, Agdam, Fizuli, Tovuz, Akstafa, Goygol and Garadagh region of Baku.
