“There are suppositions on illicit turnover of nuclear materials and their use in Azerbaijan’s uncontrolled territories occupied by Armenia,” president of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Mahmud Karimov told APA.He said that the Azerbaijan side will raise this issue at the meetings of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) this year and demanded to investigate the issue.
Karimov noted that at the IAEA meetings, Azerbaijan always raises the issue on Metsamor AES in Armenia. The above-mentioned problem will be brought to agenda again this year.
