It has become known that Armenia has been holding Azerbaijani civilian captive for a long time. Secretary to the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing People, Shahin Sayilov told APA that resident of Agstafa region, Arzu Eyyubov was captured in the direction of Agstafa-Ijevan under uncertain circumstances on February 19, 2008.
Sayilov said they have no information about captive’s health and are holding talks to return him.
Gulnaz Guliyeva, officer of Azerbaijani office of the International Red Cross Committee told APA that the representatives of the committee last time visited the captive in Armenia on July 18.
