“We are regularly holding discussions with our Azerbaijani colleagues in PACE to achieve adoption of the resolution on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and Khojaly genocide at Austrian Parliament like in other European countries,” Vice-Speaker of the National Council of Austria Fritz Neugebauer told journalists in Baku, APA reports. He noted that discussions are currently underway on this issue and serious debates are being held within the PACE session.
Neugebauer also spoke about the outcomes of his meetings within two days. He said that high-level meetings were held within two days and underlined the importance of these meetings in some projects between the two countries, especially in the development of inter-parliamentary relations.
A delegation led by Neugebauer visited Heydar Aliyev’s grave in Alley of Honor and Alley of Martyrs. National Council of Austria will hold a number of meetings at the Azerbaijani parliament today.
