The Armed Forces consider that it will increase the quality of military service and minimize negative situations.

Defense Ministry’s press service told APA that citizens who want to serve as contracted warrant officers and extended servicemen at the Armed Forces have been appealing from December 2013. The number of the appeals hasn’t been revealed, but it is reportedly high. The number of contracted staff will be gradually increased.

The Ministry recalled that Azerbaijani citizens who want to serve as contracted warrant officers and extended servicemen at the Armed Forces can appeal to military commands in Baku, Barda, Beylagan, Shamkir and Nakhchivan.

Similar experience has been applied in Border Troops and Internal Troops for several years.
