Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov has commented on Turkish media reports on the opening of borders with Armenia, APA reports. Deputy Minister told journalists that the return of Azerbaijan’s occupied regions is the subject of the talks on the opening of Turkey-Armenia border. He said that Azerbaijan’s position in this regard is clear: “Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity should be restored to resolve the conflict. Armenia takes non-constructive position on this issue. Armenia isn’t ready to resolve the issue yet. The reason for the lack of progress in peace process is the lack of political will of the opposite side.”
According to the reports of Turkish media, Ankara put forward a condition to return two occupied regions of Azerbaijan in exchange for opening of border with Armenia.” /APA/
