International tax forum on the theme “Azerbaijan’s tax system: realities and prospects” has kicked off in Baku.
APA-Economics reports that sessions entitled “Partnership relations in tax administration” and “The role of knowledge management and technologies in the modern tax administration” will be held during the two-day forum.
The sessions are attended by the representatives of government agencies, European Union, World Bank, International Finance Corporation, representatives of tax agencies of the Netherlands, Turkey, Georgia and Kazakhstan, banks, NGOs, entrepreneurs public unions and media.
“Partnership relations in tax administration”, “Risk management and partnership”, “Model of fulfilment of tax obligations”, “Establishment of automated tax information system of municipalities”, “Economic ties between the state and municipalities”, “Switching from compulsory tax collection to voluntary payment: problems, prospects” will be discussed during the forum.
The participants of the forum will make various proposals on tax legislation and improvement of tax administration.
