Work is being done on the special draft decision on financial amnesty in Azerbaijan, Minister of Taxes Fazil Mammadov said, APA-Economics reports.
The question is the legalization of the property and incomes obtained and hidden through tax evasion. It is a part of the process of switching to general income declaration in the country. Fazil Mammadov said it is impossible to switch to general declaration system without amnesty.
The Minister considers that it is necessary to apply relevant amnesty system in order to legalize property and other wealth.
Fazil Mammadov said it is not known exactly when the decision on amnesty will be passed.
