French MP Valérie Boyer has sent a written request to the Foreign Ministry stressing the importance of the restoration of air communication between Armenia and occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan and called on to support the idea of opening Khojaly airport. APA reports quoting “Nouvelles d’Armenie” website that in her request the MP asked to support the establishment of direct air communication between Yerevan and Khankendi recalling that French is a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group. Valérie Boyer asked the Ministry to provide information regarding the steps to be taken in this direction.
Valérie Boyer is the initiator of the draft law on the so-called “Armenian genocide”. She has put this draft law for the discussion in the French National Assembly three times.
