“If you pay attention to the history of Mathew Bryza’s statements, you will see that he either refutes his words next day or voices an absolutely different thought. Therefore, I don’t want to comment on Bryza’s last statement”, Khazar Ibrahim, spokesman to the AR Foreign Ministry stated expressing his attitude to the statement made by Mathew Bryza, the US co-chair to the OSCE Minsk Group, in Moscow, APA informs. Khazar Ibrahim lined up the issues, being on the agenda, as follows:
The conflict will be settled by stages. Companies of Armenian army will be withdrawn from Azerbaijani territories. All the Azerbaijani IDPs will be returned to their native lands and only after normal relations establish between the two communities, a status of Nagorno-Karabakh will be defined within the framework of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity. According to the diplomat, the essence of talks is that the process continues, but no word can be said about any progress. “If there was any progress, we could speak about a new situation, but there is not such a thing at present”.
To remind, M.Bryza stated in his speech in Moscow that liberation of surrounding districts of Nagorno-Karabakh, deployment of peacemakers in the region and holding a referendum connected with a status of Nagorno-Karabakh are being discussed by Azerbaijan and Armenia.
