There will be the sixth meeting of the Council of Heads of States immigration authorities – members of CIS in the CIS Executive Committee of Minsk on October 1-2. According to APA, the press service of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth, the meeting will discuss the interaction between migration authorities of the States – the CIS member states to tackle the global economic crisis in the field of migration, the process of implementing the decisions of the Council of Heads of State, Council of Heads of Government Council of Foreign Ministers, Council of Heads of Migration bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent States, implementation of internal procedures required for entry into force of the Convention on the Legal Status of Migrant Workers and Members of their Families states – members of CIS. The meeting also will discuss the work of the cooperation program of states – members of the Commonwealth of Independent States to combat illegal migration in 2009 – 2011 years, bilateral consultations on readmissionnoy issues.
