The summer session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly will be held in Istanbul late in June and early July, head of the Azerbaijani Delegation to OSCE PA, vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Bahar Muradova told APA. According to her, the summer session will take place under the motto “Helsinki+40”: “The annual summer session will focus on the most important issues. Foremost, a new chairman, vice-president and committee chairmen of the organization will be elected. In this respect, the work of the session will be intensive.”
Muradova said that Nagorno Karabakh problem will also be discussed at the session: “Nagorno-Karabakh problem is discussed in all events of OSCE PA. The Nagorno Karabakh problem is not expected to be included in the agenda as a special issue, but following the discussions in Croatia, the current situation of the activities carried out on this will be discussed. In any case, the Azerbaijani delegation is trying to keep the issue in the spotlight.”
