Putin discusses with Erdogan his scheduled visit to Yerevan over 100th anniversary of ‘Armenian genocide’

Russian President Vladimir Putin has discussed with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan his scheduled visit to Yerevan on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the “Armenian genocide”, according to Yuri Ushakov, the aide to the Russian president, Interfax reported.

 

“The two countries’ presidents have talked over the matter. Erdogan is conscious of Putin’s plan to make a visit to Yerevan,” said Ushakov, adding that the Turkish president is informed that the Russian delegation to be led by State Duma Chairman Sergei Naryshkin will be fairly well represented at the events dedicated to the Canakkale Victory.
