Turkish president: “We extended east-west energy corridor jointly with Azerbaijan”

Economics. “We extended east-west energy corridor jointly with Azerbaijan and friend countries”, said teh Turkish Presidnet Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the World Economic Forum, APA reports quoting Aksam newspaper.

 

He named the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline as examples.

 

Erdogan added that the TANAP project, which is currently under implementation, also plays an important role in ensuring the world’s energy security.

 

He also noted that Turkey has significant position among European consumer markets with the countries having ¾ of natural gas and fuel reserves.
