UK’s Minister for Europe encourages Azerbaijan and Armenia to build on the Vienna meeting

David Lidington, UK’s Minister for Europe at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, UK, welcomes the meeting between Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Vienna on 19 November on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, APA reports quoting Novosti Armenia. Mr Lidington, Minister for Europe, said: “I welcome the meeting held in Vienna on 19 November between President Aliyev of and President Sargsyan of Armenia. This meeting, facilitated by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and the first since January 2012, marks a positive step towards restarting regular and substantive discussions between leaders. We encourage both Presidents to build on the Vienna meeting and work actively towards a peaceful and long lasting solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.” /APA/
