On this Christmas, one of the holiday items of the US Postal Service (PS) was a stamp dedicated to the establishment of Shusha in 1751 by Panakh Ali Khan Javanshir.
It is said to be the first U.S. postage stamp dedicated to the historic city of Shusha in Azerbaijan.
The USPS says the stamp is quite popular. The holiday price of the stamp is $18.95, while the usual price is around $45.
“This stamp was provided by American Azerbaijanis, but among the customers there are many other nationalities”- told APA’s Washington correspondent USPS official.
